BIOGRAPHY

Julie completed her M.A. in Communication and Digital Media from Saginaw Valley State University and her B.A in Psychology. She studied and lived abroad in Mexico for nearly five years.

Julie has built and led numerous teams in higher education over the last twenty years, including Student Affairs, Academic Affairs, and Enrollment Management. The favorite aspect of her positions has always been working with students and her staff. She strives to provide an engaging, challenging, and dynamic learning culture for students as they work through academic, professional, and personal challenges. She is also an advocate for her staff to develop professionally and promotes a creative and innovative culture.

Outside of work, Julie enjoys being active with her son. Together, they have adventures, travel, visit family and friends, and enjoy being in the moment. She indulges in photography, gardening, mindfulness techniques, and exploring eastern philosophies. Julie also appreciates a good sense of humor!
