BIOGRAPHY

Beth Swiercz grew up in the Thumb area and has lived in Saginaw since graduating from Western Michigan University in 1993. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy and has twenty-five years of experience working in health care. Beth has worked in acute care, post-acute rehab, outpatient clinics and home health care. Over the course of her career, she has specialized in the treatment of adult stroke and neurological disorders, hand and wrist injuries and care of the neonate within the NICU.  Since 2019, Beth has been working at Saginaw Valley State University in the role of Kinesiology Clinical Coordinator. She has enjoyed this transition from health care to education, while maintaining ties to the health care community through clinical placements.
